Alarm Registration
City Ordinance 559, requires every alarm user in the City to register each alarm system in use with the Emergency Communications Center prior to, but no later than fifteen days after an alarm system is installed or placed into use.

The Citizen Police Academy offers a chance for members of the Kent area to see first hand what police officers do and experience.

Internships
Internships provide a valuable opportunity for qualified students to participate in the day-to-day functioning of a justice-related agency, the Kent Police Department.

Party Registration
The Party Registration Program is a cooperative effort between the City of Kent and the Kent Police Department to potentially provide party hosts and attendees with a telephone warning in the case of excessive noise or other nuisance activities, allowing them to voluntarily terminate a party.

Tip411 allows anonymous tips to be sent directly to the Kent Police Department. It is NOT to be used in the case of an emergency. Continue to dial 911 for emergency situations.
